Protecting your data is the core of what we do — and this website is deliberately minimal in the same spirit. Below we inform you about the processing of personal data when you visit this site.

2. Nature of this website

This website serves solely to provide information about the Klangskript project. There are no user accounts, no sign-up, no ordering or booking process, and no processing of audio, video or transcription content. Personal data is processed only to the technically necessary extent described below.

3. Hosting and server log files

This website is operated on a server of our provider Hetzner Online GmbH (Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany) in a German data centre. No data is transferred to third countries. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with the host.

When the website is accessed, the server automatically records access data in so-called server log files, transmitted by your browser for technical reasons:

This data is technically required to deliver the website, ensure its stability and security, and ward off attacks. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in providing the site securely and reliably (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The log files are deleted after a short period; the exact retention period is determined by our host. Transmission is TLS-encrypted (HTTPS).

4. Contacting us by email

The contact buttons on this website merely open your own email program; no form is transmitted. If you write to us, we process the information you provide (in particular your email address, your name and the content of your message) in order to handle your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual steps) or our legitimate interest in responding to your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We store your message until your request has been fully dealt with and delete it afterwards, unless statutory retention obligations apply. Our email mailboxes and the domain are operated by our German provider ALL-INKL.COM (Neue Medien Münnich, Germany); here too, processing takes place exclusively in Germany.

Please note that email may be sent unencrypted. Do not send us any sensitive information by this channel, and in particular no patient, client or other confidential data.

5. No cookies, no tracking, no analytics

This website uses no cookies and no cookie banner. No tracking, analytics or reach-measurement tools are used, neither our own nor third-party ones. Fonts and all other resources are embedded locally; no external CDNs, no Google Fonts and no other third-party services that could collect your data are loaded.

6. Disclosure to third parties

Your data is not disclosed to third parties — except for the technical processing by our host as a processor (see section 3) and cases in which we are legally obliged to disclose it.
